Trained on the gear they sell
Stingray Divers' staff are trained in the repair and maintenance of the equipment the shop sells. That means the person handing your regulator back is a diver who understands exactly what it has to do at depth.
Dive gear that sits — even gear that's barely been used — still needs regular attention. Seals dry out, hoses age, and small problems are far cheaper to catch on a bench than to discover underwater.

When to bring gear in
- Annual check-ups — regulators and BCDs are generally serviced on a yearly cycle or by dive count; ask the shop what your kit needs.
- Before a trip — a pre-trip inspection beats finding a problem at a remote dive site.
- After a long layoff — gear that's been in a closet deserves a once-over before it goes back in the water.
- Something's not right — free-flows, leaks, sticky inflators: bring it in and describe what you saw.
Turnaround and service options vary by item and season — call

before coming in so the shop can tell you what to bring and what to expect.
Tanks need love too
If your cylinders are due for inspection, ask when you call — tank checks go hand in hand with the shop's fill station. Thinking it might be time to replace rather than repair? The sales floor is ten feet away.
